Fixed Fee Packages

Our fees: from £3,500 - £20,000+.

Example fixed fee for financial remedy cases from recent cases:

a.     £3,500 + VAT*. Out of court settlement.

Assets of less than £500,000 to include a family home which is mortgaged, pensions less than £100,000 or largely accrued before marriage or after separation.

b.     £7,000 + VAT*. Proceedings needed.

Assets of less than £500,000 to include a family home which is mortgaged, pensions of more than £100,000 – expert evidence likely to be needed, savings etc.

c.     £15,000 + VAT*. Proceedings needed.

‍Assets of more than £500,000. To include a family home mortgage free, a family business, pensions worth more than £200,000. Expert evidence required regarding business and pension.

c.     Drafting of applications to court
d.     Drafting of witness statements
e.     Drafting of financial statements
f.      Meetings with you
g.      Drafting of offer letters  

Exclusions:

a.     VAT
b.     Expert fees such as pension actuary, property valuer, business valuer etc
c.     Barrister’s fees for each court hearing
d.     Other disbursements which are not related to our fees 

Our fees: from £1,500 + VAT to £20,000 + VAT

Example fixed fee for child arrangement disputes from recent cases:

a.     £1,500 + VAT*.
Out of court negotiation regarding parenting plan.

b.     £5,000 + VAT*.
Proceedings needed but matter settles at the first hearing.

c.     £7,000 + VAT*.
Proceedings needed but matter settles at the second hearing, CAFCASS section 7 report required.

d.     £15,000 + VAT*.
Proceedings needed. More than 3 hearings required. There are complex issues such as alcohol/drugs, psychological issues, parental alienation allegations, domestic abuse etc. A guardian is appointed for the child and the child is made party to the proceedings.

Exclusions:

Barrister’s fees for each hearing and other disbursements. 

Our fees: from £3,000 + VAT - £15,000 + VAT.

Example fixed fees:

a.     £3,000 + VAT*.
Negotiating settlement regarding property without proceedings.

b.     £7,000 + VAT*.
Proceedings needed but there is only one hearing.
